Lacing it up

I must confess that I’m definitely not ready for summer to be over, but I am very excited about this year’s fall fashion and trying out new trends. Lace and crochet have been favorites of mine over the summer, and it can definitely trickle over the coming month since we’re still in that stage where it’s no longer beach season but still not cold enough to be fall. You can pair a crochet dress or top with cute booties or wear a crochet skirt with a light sweater to give it a more autumn vibe. Follow the links to see some of my favorite lace items right now.

The right accessory can make any outfit pop and hats are really in this summer. I love a wide straw hat during the day or for the beach, while a wool floppy hat is a glamorous addition to any look. Adding a small straw hat to shorts and a tee can give a sexy yet effortless beach vibe. Check out my favorite hats for summer below.

Playsuit Fever

Whether you call them playsuits, rompers or jumpsuits they should be a summer staple in every girl’s wardrobe. They’re breezy, comfortable and extremely flattering. I especially like playsuits with a touch of novelty, such as a lace back insert or a fun print. You can dress them up with heels for a night out or with cute slippers to the beach. Check out my favorite styles below.
