You may have heard me use this line before, but the shoot for this Zara Frilled Shirt is one of my all-time favorites, and it’s not only because I absolutely adore this outfit. I’ve been stung by the wanderlust bug again and that’s what inspired this lookbook. While dreaming up what I’d like to pack on a trip to Tuscany, I knew it would involve stripes, a straw hat and of course a pair of strappy gold sandals. My off-shoulder obsession has already begun in full-fledged mode and this frilled shirt has an extra cute flounce to it.
While shopping at Zara recently, I noticed it was stripes and off-shoulder central, which made me wonder how many similar tops and dresses I can buy before it gets to be too many. I came to the conclusion that it’s probably all I’ll be wearing these days and I’m not going to fight it. This is certainly the hottest trend this spring/summer, and since we’ve all invested in so many of these cute shirts, it’ll hopefully stick around for another few years.
Whenever I wear this soft blue shade it reminds me of our honeymoon in Santorini, the color of the clear sky connected with the ocean and the tops of the little churches in Oia. As you can see, I’ve got it bad and I’m itching to go somewhere soon. Luckily I haven’t booked any trips yet, thus giving me plenty of time to build the perfect wardrobe for when I do finally jet off, my trusty hats in tow. What have you been dreaming of lately, my darling?

As you may already know, I’m huge fan of unexpected outfits that aren’t constrained by seasonal trends or what everyone’s usually wearing, so I had to find a way to style my favorite pink pleated skirt this fall. Navy and Pink is one of my all time favorite combinations, because it’s the perfect balance between girly and chic. I opted for a fitted sweater to give me a lady-like silhouette, and accessorized with heels and a lace clutch to make it look more dressy. You can always wear a loose cropped sweater and booties for a more boho look.
I know I’ve been gone a while, but I’m back and I have a lot of fun things I’ll be sharing with you. Last week was pretty hectic and difficult, so I needed time to recoup and focus on my health and well being. With that said, the work never stops and I’m constantly working on new content and improving The Blush Diaries for you all.

Some colors take me by surprise and change my whole vision of ‘summer vibes’. This particular mustard/mango shade has always reminded me of fall, but when I found this ruffled top I was so in love with the fabric and the brightness. This top is so chic and flirty, and can be styled with a skirt or pants depending on where you’re wearing it or the overall look you’re going for. I would normally prefer a little tan when wearing bright tops because I find that a bronzed glow makes the color pop better.
I’m a firm believer that no color is limited to a season, and we continue to see that proven more and more each year. It’s important to go out of your comfort zone every once in a while and try something new. Some of the best pieces that I’ve held onto for years are chosen on a whim and aren’t the usual cookie cutter styles. I generally prefer gold over silver jewelry, and the gold accents worked perfectly with this particular shade of mustard. On another note: white distressed denim and cute wedges are officially my new summer uniform.

Well folks, it’s officially summer in May. I realize that I mention the weather all the time, but it definitely impacts my style and what I can or can’t wear. I don’t know about you but I’m ready for cute shorts, bright-colored bikinis and lots of boho accessories.
I’ve loved the gladiator sandals ever since I laid eyes on Kourtney Kardashian wearing them years ago. There are so many different styles out there, and whether you like them strappy or chunky, in gold or in black they are an easy way to dress up a summer outfit. I found a gorgeous variety of options, check them out below!

It’s officially Spring, and that means it’s time to bring out the midi skirts. Personally, I’m about ready to buy one in each color. They’re so versatile, can be dressed up or down and are really flattering on pretty much anyone. Whether you prefer to wear them with flats or heels, they are easy to style. I stacked dainty jewels and carried my new favorite pink bag, because I love a day-time look. I chose to wear these nude wedges to keep the look casual and breezy. Are you in love with midi skirts too?
