With a wedding coming up in December then Christmas and New Year’s Eve following shortly I’ve been knee-deep into fancy dress shopping, and all the accessories that inadvertently go along with it. I’ve created this Glam List of some of my favorite glitzy pieces that are perfect for all the upcoming occasions and celebrations.
A wispy lace dress is an obvious choice because its both delicate formal, while a sparkly dress just screams ‘holiday glamor’. My favorite piece has to be this Kate Spade bow back dress that is at the top of my lust list. When it comes to shoes, I absolutely adore velvet pumps in deep shades. Finally, I like gold accents on my accessories, especially with pearl or marble detailing.
I hope you like these picks as much as I do! it’s never too early to start shopping for a special evening especially with all the sales going on right now, and hopefully my glam list checks all the boxes.
I knew that I needed to invest in a great cape this year, but with all the options out there it was so hard to pick just one. I finally chose this checked cape from Morning Lavender because it’s stylish, cozy and really versatile.
Capes can be worn over dresses, skirts or shorts, and even with jeans on a long flight. Since it has an oversized fit, I wanted to make sure I balance the outfit with a v-neck tank and my favorite pleated skirt. The caged heels are to add a touch of dressiness to the whole look. I am also really obsessed with my new reversible bag from Nordstrom, the cognac colors goes with pretty much anything and it’s so spacious that you can toss pretty much anything into it and just go.
Have you got yourself a cape this fall, and if so how are you planning on styling it this season?

I don’t love the end of anything, especially summer. Luckily for me summer is the predominant season in Dubai, so the warmth isn’t ending anytime soon. My wings are still ready for takeoff and I’m hoping I’ll get to go on a little trip sometime soon, so I’m sharing my end of summer wishlist and necessities for exploring a new city. What are your end of summer plans my loves, I’d love to know!
If you’ve been thinking about experimenting with some fun and bold prints, now’s the time to do it. The thing about printed pieces is they may seem limited to a season, so I usually wait for a great sale and invest in a few outfits or accessories I can enjoy all summer long. Nordstrom’s anniversary sale starts on July 17th, but they opened early access to card holders today. I’ve linked my top picks below, happy shopping loves! Xo
